I have a bad feeling I can’t shake.
I feel agitated, anxious. Like I’m holding on to something too tightly, but I don’t know what.
I’m not a religious person, but I heard this quote somewhere:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Google and Wikipedia say it’s called the “Serenity Prayer” and that it has been adopted by AA. Cool.
I just omit ‘God’, and say it to myself a couple of times.
I should definitely learn some relaxation techniques. Breathing deeply doesn’t count, I feel stupid when I do that.
