Japan

Fushimi Inari Shrine

Fushimi Inari Shrine

I took a month off work this past September and traveled to Japan all on my own.

It was EXPENSIVE – even though I stayed within my budget – so proud of myself :)

It was also one of the best experiences ever – Japan is amazing. The people, culture, architecture and nature. I climbed several mountains, went to onsens and ate delicious food. I will have to return someday soon.

Oh, and how could I forget? I go to practice my Japanese for the first time!  It felt really good.

I took so many notes and photos during the trip. I have to actually write everything down. Just thinking about it makes my head ache.

How do you even get started? :/

Popping in to say hello

Hi there,

It’s been forever since my last post. Maybe you know how it’s like. Sometimes you just write and write, and other times it’s the last thing on your mind.

I was in Italy the past May. I visited a friend, then traveled a bit. I absolutely loved every second. One of my favorite places was Burano Island, Venice. It’s not as touristic as Murano, which is one of the reasons I liked it so much. It’s great if you want a break from Venice.

Until next time,

Alpheba
