Fushimi Inari Shrine

I took a month off work this past September and traveled to Japan all on my own.

It was EXPENSIVE – even though I stayed within my budget – so proud of myself :)

It was also one of the best experiences ever – Japan is amazing. The people, culture, architecture and nature. I climbed several mountains, went to onsens and ate delicious food. I will have to return someday soon.

Oh, and how could I forget? I go to practice my Japanese for the first time!  It felt really good.

I took so many notes and photos during the trip. I have to actually write everything down. Just thinking about it makes my head ache.
